BIWIN Showcased Industrial Wide-Temp Solutions at the 52nd Electrical Instrument & Meter Exhibition

Date:2026/04/29 Read:3

Recently, the 52nd China Electrical Instrument and Meter Industry Development Conference and Exhibition opened at Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center. BIWIN presented its latest flagship products alongside a comprehensive full-scenario storage solution for the power industry.

As power systems enter a critical phase of digital transformation, next-generation grid infrastructure places increasingly stringent requirements on storage devices in terms of wide-temperature adaptability, reliability, and data integrity. Any storage failure may not only disrupt equipment operation but also pose risks to overall grid security.

Addressing these challenges, BIWIN introduced two core products purpose-built for power and energy applications: the industrial wide-temperature eMMC TGE408 and the industrial wide-temperature DDR PZ005. In addition, BIWIN showcased a full-scenario storage solution covering the entire power value chain from generation, transmission, and transformation to distribution and consumption, delivering secure, reliable, and domestically controlled storage support for industry users.

Industrial Wide-Temperature eMMC TGE408

Engineered for Power-Specific Applications

The BIWIN industrial-grade eMMC TGE408 integrates an in-house developed controller with high-quality domestic NAND flash, supporting an ultra-wide operating temperature range from -40℃ to 85℃. With flexible capacities from 8GB to 128GB, the product features strong electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance, enabling stable operation under extreme outdoor temperatures, power fluctuations, and complex electromagnetic environments.

The device supports pSLC mode, achieving up to 100,000 P/E cycles. This significantly enhances endurance and real-time performance for system firmware, bootloaders, and critical configuration data, ensuring fast and reliable system startup even under harsh conditions and fully meeting the power industry’s demands for long lifespan, high reliability, and operational stability.

Additionally, the TGE408 incorporates a built-in power-loss protection mechanism to safeguard data integrity during unexpected power outages. To address the “high-frequency, small data stream” characteristics of power equipment, BIWIN has implemented deep protocol-level optimizations within the controller, effectively reducing latency and ensuring real-time, complete logging of fault recording and operational data.

Industrial Wide-Temperature DDR PZ005

A High-Performance DRAM Solution for Real-Time Caching

The BIWIN DDR PZ005 utilizes industrial-grade DRAM, delivering data rates of up to 3200 Mbps and stable operation across a wide temperature range from -40℃ to 95℃. The product is compliant with RoHS and REACH standards.

Enhanced EMI resistance ensures consistent read/write performance and data transmission integrity in high-interference environments typical of power systems. It is ideally suited for real-time applications such as intermediate data caching, where high-speed and stable data exchange is critical.

A Fully Integrated, Self-Controllable Storage Portfolio

Empowering Intelligent Transformation of Power Systems

At this exhibition, BIWIN highlighted its comprehensive full-scenario storage solution for the power industry—built upon a deeply integrated, industrial-grade portfolio designed for autonomy, reliability, and scalability.

Conclusion

BIWIN’s full-scenario storage solution for the power industry now comprehensively supports key equipment including relay protection systems, switches, grid fault recorders, intelligent integrated terminals, power gateways, industrial computers, data acquisition systems, and line inspection systems. The solution is deeply embedded across all stages of power system digitalization. All products have completed compatibility validation with mainstream SoC platforms in the power industry and are ready for large-scale deployment with fast project implementation capabilities.

Looking ahead, BIWIN will continue to focus on industrial and automotive-grade storage, driven by its core strategy of “independent innovation and full-stack in-house development.” The company remains committed to delivering secure, reliable, and wide-temperature storage solutions for the power and energy sector, supporting the digital and intelligent transformation of modern power systems.
